Creativity isn’t just something Amy Burstynski does—it’s something she has been developing and expressing throughout her life.
Amy has spent years working with her hands, exploring different materials, learning new techniques, and finding creative ways to transform the ordinary into something unexpected and beautiful. At Custom TBags, that lifetime of creativity comes together in every piece she touches.
As one of our talented crochet artists, Amy brings texture, detail, and handmade artistry to our designs. She also helps with the careful sewing and embellishing of our jackets and has become our master shirt weaver and designer, transforming traditional shirts into completely reimagined, one-of-a-kind creations.
What makes Amy such an important part of Custom TBags is her ability to see possibilities in materials that others might overlook. Fabric, yarn, denim, ribbons, embellishments and unexpected textiles become her creative playground. She doesn’t simply work from a pattern—she looks at each piece and imagines what it could become.
And that is exactly what Custom TBags is all about.

There are artists who can paint beautifully—and then there are artists like Kris Michael, who can look at an ordinary surface and see something no one else can see yet.
Kris is the extraordinary painting artist behind Custom TBags, bringing a level of creativity, imagination, and artistic talent that transforms our one-of-a-kind pieces into genuine wearable works of art.
Her talent goes far beyond simply adding paint to a jacket, shirt, or bag. Kris has an incredible ability to look at something that is already wonderful and envision what it could become. With her own distinctive artistic touch, she can completely elevate a piece—adding personality, dimension, emotion, color, and details that you never would have imagined until you see the finished creation.
And then you wonder how the piece ever existed without them.
Kris’s artistic abilities span so many different forms. From her incredible face painting to individually created artwork, custom designs, and beautifully memorializing beloved pets, she has spent years developing the ability to capture personality and emotion through her art. Her creativity isn’t limited to one style, one canvas, or one medium—and that versatility is exactly what makes her such an incredible addition to Custom TBags.
When Kris agreed to bring those talents to our team, she elevated what we could create.

Meet Roxy Tool
Accounting Brain • Marketplace Wizard • Behind-the-Scenes Powerhouse
Every creative business needs someone who can turn big ideas into an operation that actually works. At Custom TBags, that person is Roxy Tool.
While our artists are busy cutting, sewing, weaving, painting and creating, Roxy is helping make sure the business behind all that creativity keeps moving forward.
And she brings years of experience to the job.
With a background in bookkeeping and running a company, Roxy understands that building a business takes much more than having a great product. It takes organization, persistence, problem-solving, attention to detail—and sometimes just the determination to figure out whatever challenge lands on your desk that day.
Those years of experience have made Roxy strong, resourceful and pretty hard to rattle. That’s especially important at Custom TBags, where a small idea has quickly grown into a blooming business with a massive one-of-a-kind inventory, physical marketplaces throughout the Phoenix area, and a brand-new online store.
Roxy is our incredible accounting brain, helping us keep track of the numbers and the details that allow a creative business to grow responsibly.
But spreadsheets are only part of her story.
She is also the wizard behind our physical marketplaces. From planning what needs to go, organizing merchandise and helping with displays to keeping things running when marketplace day arrives, Roxy is one of those people who sees what needs to happen—and gets it done.
Then there is perhaps one of her biggest challenges yet: helping us manage an inventory that has grown to more than 1,000 individual pieces.
And at Custom TBags, that isn’t 1,000 identical products sitting neatly in boxes.
Many of our creations are one of a kind, which means individual pieces have their own details, descriptions, measurements, photographs, pricing and inventory information. As our new website opens our collection to customers beyond our local marketplaces, keeping all of those moving pieces organized becomes an enormous job.
That’s where Roxy shines.
She brings the practical side of business together with the wonderfully unpredictable world of creativity. She helps take the ideas flying around the room and turn them into plans, numbers, systems and results.
She is part bookkeeper, part organizer, part marketplace magician, part problem-solver—and a huge part of what happens behind the scenes at Custom TBags.
Building a new business isn’t always neat. It’s exciting, challenging, sometimes chaotic and constantly changing. Roxy has the experience and toughness to meet those challenges head-on while helping us build the foundation for whatever comes next.
